plumber had to babysit me
perhaps I had enjoyed some quality time
with utterly thrilling pipe-fixing stories
I honestly don't remember
cause age was not on my side
to do so
as a grown up now
fixing sinks I've become eligible for
myself
is unfulfilled
nevertheless mom is still in charge
and plumber is gone for good
with all his babysitting witcheries
throughout my childhood
hardly had mom realised
that plumber was doing a great
other job
never required double payment
cause the job he'd never done
was how we used to call him
oh, plumber plumber
oh, you pipe-doctor
come back
but never did he
and
so to do
of crying
I sank
