What kind of work do you do? I'm an influencer. And what are you influencing? People. How? I'm posting myself being sexy on IG, and I'm waiting for the likes. Lots of them. Thousands, tens of thousands. Ideally, hundreds of thousands, so I can start making a buck out of it. But how do the things you do help others? They see that I live well, so they want to live well too. They see that I'm beautiful, so they want to be beautiful too. They see that I have a rich boyfriend, so they want rich boyfriends too. And if they want all these things, but they can't get them? They shouldn't like my posts then if they don't want to. I'm not giving up on my business over some people gnashing their teeth in envy.

Real Fiction is a collective project started in 2013 by Florin Piersic Jr. The concept of Real Fiction continued to exist as a Facebook group, after a volume of stories was published at Humanitas Publishing House. (In November 2021, the group has 7.500 members.) The authors write ultra-short stories, with the texts limited to 500 characters (in Romanian, so the length of the English translation might be a little different) - a flash-fiction exercise on a topic that changes every few days. The group's coordinators are Florin Piersic Jr., Gabriel Molnar, Răzvan Penescu, and Luchian Abel. (Drawing by Adrian T. Roman)
