I went out for a walk. Walking aimlessly down Scarlet Street I saw her, the Woman in the Window, an ad I would have forgotten if I hadn't met her in front of the window, the same one; a broken heel set it all off. We started to go out, she didn't mind my toad face and shabby bourgeois air. We got married. In the evenings we would go out to the Cinematheque with her brother, a gas plumber. She was hooked on noir, Double Indemnity tonight. We got home late, her heel broke in the alley. Go ahead and turn on the light. Last words.

(In January 2023, the group has 10,220 members.) The authors write ultra-short stories, with the texts limited to 500 characters (in Romanian, so the length of the English translation might be a little different) - a flash-fiction exercise on a topic that changes every few days.
