While reading the box office, Rita opens a can of beer for herself. A comedy about a couple of employees on a teambuilding outing leads the charts. She starts writing. She is tapping the keycaps quickly and the reviews immediately show up on the site. She has been writing positive reviews for two months, only changing the nuances and the user she posts from. Other 50 colleagues have been doing the same. The movie reaches 10 stars. The first Romanian success. She did the same with Untold a long time ago. For a modest amount. The next project is political. Of the extreme right.

Look at how she is moving her hand. And her expression, it's like she is dealing the cards for poker. You can't even tell that she is mine. It seems as if she were only Răzvan's daughter. I'm laughing like it's a good joke. I remember the rest as through a haze. I know that it was the best movie we have ever seen together. A good movie is when you have learned something from it, right? She did not have a good hand of cards and she died. Răzvan has never heard our joke and is probably losing at poker as per usual. He doesn't talk about her anymore. Only I go through the images of the last ultrasound from time to time.

He was obsessed with movies. He has been looking his whole life for the perfect movie. When he was a child, he saw ET and thought that was it. Then he grew up, saw Matrix and it moved to first place. He got married and had a child. He didn't even notice when they moved out, he was watching movies from morning until night. He was looking for something and couldn't find it in any movie. He had some money and didn't have to work anymore. He missedout on the 10 stars movie on IMDB which could have been his life lived with purpose. It did not even receive the Golden Raspberry Award. They have discovered it after a while.

Real Fiction is a collective project started in 2013 by Florin Piersic Jr. The concept of Real Fiction continued to exist as a Facebook group, after a volume of stories was published at Humanitas Publishing House. (In September 2023, the group has 11,820 members.) The authors write ultra-short stories, with the texts limited to 500 characters (in Romanian, so the length of the English translation might be a little different) - a flash-fiction exercise on a topic that changes every few days. The group's coordinators are Florin Piersic Jr., Gabriel Molnar, Răzvan Penescu, Luchian Abel, and Vlad Mușat. (Drawing by Adrian T. Roman)
