Come on, repeat after me: A-di-das. Diiii-or. Say it, dear. You have learned what's your name and where you live, we have to learn the brands now, so you'd have what to speak about at kindergarten. A-di-das. Oh dear, you take after your dad, I am always struggling to find the trendy clothes, the colour of the year and you can't even say three words. How can I now send you to the step-by-step kindergarten, so all the children would think we're wearing fakes? Let's go through the colours as well. Tell me, what matches with purple and what never goes well with it?

Real Fiction is a collective project started in 2013 by Florin Piersic Jr. The concept of Real Fiction continued to exist as a Facebook group, after a volume of stories was published at Humanitas Publishing House. (In January 2021, the group has 3.000 members.) The authors write ultra-short stories, setting their texts within the limit of 500 symbols (in Romanian language, so in English the limit might be a little different) - a flash-fiction exercise with an almost daily changed topic. The group's coordinators are Florin Piersic Jr., Gabriel Molnar, and Luchian Abel. (Drawing by Adrian T. Roman)
