Women believe I'm an eunuch. A fat, ugly one, but with a good heart. I am anti-sex, meaning none of them would ever sleep with me. The Cariyes always ask me for relationship advice. My friends nicknamed me Forever Alone. Until day zero, when I sprayed myself with Hugo Boss. Stepping with pride into the club, in a dapper outfit, I was surrounded by the females who kept me in the friend zone up until then. They sniffed me all over, they took a deep breath and said: "Oh my gosh girl, what perfume is that? It totally rocks."

Real Fiction is a collective project started in 2013 by Florin Piersic Jr. The concept of Real Fiction continued to exist as a Facebook group, after a volume of stories was published at Humanitas Publishing House. (In May 2021, the group has 6.400 members.) The authors write ultra-short stories, setting their texts within the limit of 500 symbols (in Romanian language, so in English the limit might be a little different) - a flash-fiction exercise with an almost daily changed topic. The group's coordinators are Florin Piersic Jr., Gabriel Molnar, Răzvan Penescu, and Luchian Abel. (Drawing by Adrian T. Roman)
