At 15, I was stealing my brother's poems and giving them to her on a CD.
At 17, I was breaking up with her through a text.
At 20, I was cheating on her with another.
At 24, I ignored her for a whole year.
At 29, I left her alone for her birthday.
At 31, she dumped me. But I convinced her to come back.
At 33, I told her that nothing happened.
At 35, I was telling her that I love her just because I knew that was what she wanted to hear.
I am trash.

Real Fiction is a collective project started in 2013 by Florin Piersic Jr. The concept of Real Fiction continued to exist as a Facebook group, after a volume of stories was published at Humanitas Publishing House. (In January 2021, the group has 3.000 members.) The authors write ultra-short stories, setting their texts within the limit of 500 symbols (in Romanian language, so in English the limit might be a little different) - a flash-fiction exercise with an almost daily changed topic. The group's coordinators are Florin Piersic Jr., Gabriel Molnar, and Luchian Abel. (Drawing by Adrian T. Roman)
