Dear godmother,
I just made time to write to you a few words, as many as I can fit on this cute photo with all of us. Do you see how happy and healthy we seem? But we only seem that way, in reality aunt Fifi had diarrhea, my brother was fighting with his wife, my dad had gotten into a fight with a neighbor, and he was a little bit shaken up, my mom was being scratched by Coca on her arms and I had just pulled out a tooth. But apart from this, we are fine.
PS: please forgive me, I realized too late that Bruno had his back to the camera. Yes, he was doing his business, but I do not have any other picture. We are sending kisses.

Real Fiction is a collective project started in 2013 by Florin Piersic Jr. The concept of Real Fiction continued to exist as a Facebook group, after a volume of stories was published at Humanitas Publishing House. (In January 2021, the group has 3.000 members.) The authors write ultra-short stories, with the texts limited to 500 characters (in Romanian, so the length of the English translation might be a little different) - a flash-fiction exercise on a topic that changes every few days. The group's coordinators are Florin Piersic Jr., Gabriel Molnar, and Luchian Abel. (Drawing by Adrian T. Roman)
