When you went to the supermarket, I asked you to get me a Fanta and chocolates, because I don't watch movies without chocolates, and moreover, I don't even bother to leave the house without them. What did you say? I'll remind you of what you said, you said "sure", that's what you said. What's more, you called to tell me that you're on your way home and have the chocolates. So I, in good faith, got dressed and came to you. Do not interrupt me. So what's this crap? Boy, who the hell is eating corn puffs with nutella? Are we animals?

Real Fiction is a collective project started in 2013 by Florin Piersic Jr. The concept of Real Fiction continued to exist as a Facebook group, after a volume of stories was published at Humanitas Publishing House. (In January 2021, the group has 3.000 members.) The authors write ultra-short stories, setting their texts within the limit of 500 symbols (in Romanian language, so in English the limit might be a little different) - a flash-fiction exercise with an almost daily changed topic. The group's coordinators are Florin Piersic Jr., Gabriel Molnar, and Luchian Abel. (Drawing by Adrian T. Roman)
