I'm not feeling well. He cheated on me. Again. This one is even more swarthy than the first one, from 6 months ago. Tanned voices, with perfect teeth, on YouTube tell me that the solution is to clean up. The truth is that many things piled up in all the nooks and crannies: Mirela left me a bag of disappointments spilled everywhere, Corina always wipes her shame on my towels, my brother vomits reproaches on the floor; and not to mention what a disaster my mother made, right in the back room. That's it. I'm going to buy a mop. But a cheaper one, because that's all I can afford.

Real Fiction is a collective project started in 2013 by Florin Piersic Jr. The concept of Real Fiction continued to exist as a Facebook group, after a volume of stories was published at Humanitas Publishing House. (In January 2021, the group has 3.000 members.) The authors write ultra-short stories, setting their texts within the limit of 500 symbols (in Romanian language, so in English the limit might be a little different) - a flash-fiction exercise with an almost daily changed topic. The group's coordinators are Florin Piersic Jr., Gabriel Molnar, and Luchian Abel. (Drawing by Adrian T. Roman)
