Nobody Nothingsson was born on January 32nd 2000 and died on February 31st 1976. Time had come off its hinges the night she had shot out from between her mother's legs prematurely, as she was waiting for the number 9 tram in the station for tram number 8, one Bacovian day in the month of July. Landing right in the puddle the woman with ten other children under her belt was dipping her skirts into, Nobody understood immediately that her whole life she would go from bad to worse, always out of phase, in the wrong place and with her clock running ahead.

Real Fiction is a collective project started in 2013 by Florin Piersic Jr. The concept of Real Fiction continued to exist as a Facebook group, after a volume of stories was published at Humanitas Publishing House. (In January 2021, the group has 3.000 members.) The authors write ultra-short stories, setting their texts within the limit of 500 symbols (in Romanian language, so in English the limit might be a little different) - a flash-fiction exercise with an almost daily changed topic. The group's coordinators are Florin Piersic Jr., Gabriel Molnar, and Luchian Abel. (Drawing by Adrian T. Roman)
