When he embraced me for the first time, he hit me with his ocean scented cologne. A cologne that sold me. We made love for three days and three nights, like in a fantasy story. Then I found out that he actually uses rubbing alcohol after shaving. But, before meeting me, he stopped by his brother's and used a lotion he bought from Paris.
I dumped him. I could not be with a man who had traces of Mona on his face. I'm going to meet his brother tomorrow evening. But first, I must stop by my sister's so that I can borrow a designer dress.

Real Fiction is a collective project started in 2013 by Florin Piersic Jr. The concept of Real Fiction continued to exist as a Facebook group, after a volume of stories was published at Humanitas Publishing House. (In January 2021, the group has 3.000 members.) The authors write ultra-short stories, setting their texts within the limit of 500 symbols (in Romanian language, so in English the limit might be a little different) - a flash-fiction exercise with an almost daily changed topic. The group's coordinators are Florin Piersic Jr., Gabriel Molnar, and Luchian Abel. (Drawing by Adrian T. Roman)
