In kindergarten, they said that I have an extreme amount of empathy. In middle school, the teacher told my mother that I just absorb surrounding energy and this could be seen all over me so much so that it was like looking into a bizarre human mirror.
Everything was fine until elementary school. But, when I ran into Inorganic Chemistry, the dull Plane Geometry and the optional physics class, it felt like every class drained the life out of me. Old and with good grades, I enter eighth grade. I have to study a lot for admission and to enter high school or whatever. I hope that I can gain back some youth there.

Real Fiction is a collective project started in 2013 by Florin Piersic Jr. The concept of Real Fiction continued to exist as a Facebook group, after a volume of stories was published at Humanitas Publishing House. (In January 2021, the group has 3.000 members.) The authors write ultra-short stories, with the texts limited to 500 characters (in Romanian, so the length of the English translation might be a little different) - a flash-fiction exercise on a topic that changes every few days. The group's coordinators are Florin Piersic Jr., Gabriel Molnar, and Luchian Abel. (Drawing by Adrian T. Roman)
