He asked me in French where I got my Adibas jacket from. I wear it ironically, I say thinking he didn't get me joke and is messing with me. Turns out he does actually want to know where such treasures can be found. Where he's from, France, there are no fakes, only original pieces. And him, as the anticapitalistic anarchist that he is, wants to hit the
hipster-boycotted corporations hard. In the circles he's used to, fakes like this crappy one are in great demand and they cost more than those that are real.

Real Fiction is a collective project started in 2013 by Florin Piersic Jr. The concept of Real Fiction continued to exist as a Facebook group, after a volume of stories was published at Humanitas Publishing House. (In January 2021, the group has 3.000 members.) The authors write ultra-short stories, with the texts limited to 500 characters (in Romanian, so the length of the English translation might be a little different) - a flash-fiction exercise on a topic that changes every few days.
