I've always heard "Marieta is beautiful, but she's stupid." I have a wasp waist and I like wearing sensual red heels. I only speak when I'm wondering at the view.
Last week, I was on the luxurious train going to Sinaia, for beauty has its perks, when the tragedy happened. Pushing against the WC in order to fully see myself in the mirror, my foot slipped.
I was pulling and pushing, and the shit tank emptied on me. The shit then headed towards the green velvet-cushioned restaurant. What did I do? Marieta is beautiful, that's the only thing I knew, that's the only thing I shouted.

Real Fiction is a collective project started in 2013 by Florin Piersic Jr. The concept of Real Fiction continued to exist as a Facebook group, after a volume of stories was published at Humanitas Publishing House. (In February 2021, the group has 4.300 members.) The authors write ultra-short stories, with the texts limited to 500 characters (in Romanian, so the length of the English translation might be a little different) - a flash-fiction exercise on a topic that changes every few days. The group's coordinators are Florin Piersic Jr., Gabriel Molnar, and Luchian Abel. (Drawing by Adrian T. Roman)
