In the beginning I created the heavens and the earth. Then Pre-Eva appeared. Nobody knew who she was as I didn't want anybody to know she had driven me crazy in love and overturned my creation. Kohl shadowed eyes and the body of a Levant queen only covered by tissue garments, silver garlands and stones of turquoise which have all left me defenseless into the primordial darkness. I could hardly awake from my sensual delirium. Let there be light and when light turned on, she had already vanished. Then the men in white uniforms appeared and said they would tie me to the bed if I kept screaming.

Real Fiction is a collective project started in 2013 by Florin Piersic Jr. The concept of Real Fiction continued to exist as a Facebook group, after a volume of stories was published at Humanitas Publishing House. (In March 2021, the group has 4.500 members.) The authors write ultra-short stories, setting their texts within the limit of 500 symbols (in Romanian language, so in English the limit might be a little different) - a flash-fiction exercise with an almost daily changed topic. The group's coordinators are Florin Piersic Jr., Gabriel Molnar, and Luchian Abel. (Drawing by Adrian T. Roman)
