A couple of expats 60+ are kissing each other fervently. A kid with bald head and rotten teeth approaches the heart shaped bed and asks if he can join us. He is met with refusal, but remains for a while in the room, wearing a conquering smile. The sound of a fart is followed by some burps. The fluorescent clock on the wall shows 6 o'clock. A mysterious voice pours from the loudspeakers: sexy ladies, sexy gentlemen, the Club of Wishes will be closing. We hope you had a magic night and that you fulfilled all your fantasies.

Real Fiction is a collective project started in 2013 by Florin Piersic Jr. The concept of Real Fiction continued to exist as a Facebook group, after a volume of stories was published at Humanitas Publishing House. (In March 2021, the group has 4.300 members.) The authors write ultra-short stories, with the texts limited to 500 characters (in Romanian, so the length of the English translation might be a little different) - a flash-fiction exercise on a topic that changes every few days. The group's coordinators are Florin Piersic Jr., Gabriel Molnar, and Luchian Abel. (Drawing by Adrian T. Roman)
