Hooo, so cold. Gimme a smoke, bro. And the darkness. That's why it's called the darkness of the mind. Shit. Can't see to even light it. Bro, how good we were 'til last night. We had Netflix. We had playlist. And this place was full of friendly faces. Yesterday we were slashing in the group with memes and sarcasm, and now we are suckers freezing in the dark. How on Earth did we end up the last two neurons in this girl's brains, who fell in love like a fool in a second and sent us all to hell?

Real Fiction is a collective project started in 2013 by Florin Piersic Jr. The concept of Real Fiction continued to exist as a Facebook group, after a volume of stories was published at Humanitas Publishing House. (In March 2021, the group has 4.300 members.) The authors write ultra-short stories, with the texts limited to 500 characters (in Romanian, so the length of the English translation might be a little different) - a flash-fiction exercise on a topic that changes every few days. The group's coordinators are Florin Piersic Jr., Gabriel Molnar, and Luchian Abel. (Drawing by Adrian T. Roman)
