Yes, girl, I know everything about him: where, with whom, how and in what way he lives. I've seen all his movies, I stalk him on social media and on the window. I'm up to date with all the information. So what if he doesn't know who I am, girl? I'll introduce myself. Tomorrow, after he drinks his coffee and smokes two cigarettes as usual, he'll go out. I'll come his way as if by chance and stumble upon him. I'll also do a spectaculars fall. When he gets close to me, I'll start saying poems, fables, monologues. Your mom's a desperate actress.

Real Fiction is a collective project started in 2013 by Florin Piersic Jr. The concept of Real Fiction continued to exist as a Facebook group, after a volume of stories was published at Humanitas Publishing House. (In March 2021, the group has 4.300 members.) The authors write ultra-short stories, with the texts limited to 500 characters (in Romanian, so the length of the English translation might be a little different) - a flash-fiction exercise on a topic that changes every few days. The group's coordinators are Florin Piersic Jr., Gabriel Molnar, and Luchian Abel. (Drawing by Adrian T. Roman)
