Yes, I'm very scared, that's the truth. I'm going through some very big changes and no one seems to understand me. I've gained weight, I'm moving harder, I'm hungry all the time, I cry at commercials, I have insomnia, I miss things I don't know and sometimes I have panic attacks. It would help me more to be with you, to encourage me, to bring me something good to eat, than to sit and look at me like that. How would you feel in my place if you knew you were going to have eight children and only six tits?

Real Fiction is a collective project started in 2013 by Florin Piersic Jr. The concept of Real Fiction continued to exist as a Facebook group, after a volume of stories was published at Humanitas Publishing House. (In March 2021, the group has 4.300 members.) The authors write ultra-short stories, with the texts limited to 500 characters (in Romanian, so the length of the English translation might be a little different) - a flash-fiction exercise on a topic that changes every few days. The group's coordinators are Florin Piersic Jr., Gabriel Molnar, and Luchian Abel. (Drawing by Adrian T. Roman)
