Saint Peter. You followed the 10 commandments. You don't really fit in Heaven. How so? Yes, Vlad, there are 10 more, and you didn't obey the most important one. Which one? Don't make a bank loan. Robbing a bank would have been something serious, but this isn't serious. Go to the basement. Vlad Muşat. What do you want? They sent me from above. You are lucky today, it is full in Hell. Go to that long hallway and turn left on Friday, complete the 666 requests and choose what you will reincarnate in. We have stork, badger, foal. Alright. Ah, if you had chosen Heaven as well!

Real Fiction is a collective project started in 2013 by Florin Piersic Jr. The concept of Real Fiction continued to exist as a Facebook group, after a volume of stories was published at Humanitas Publishing House. (In March 2021, the group has 4.300 members.) The authors write ultra-short stories, with the texts limited to 500 characters (in Romanian, so the length of the English translation might be a little different) - a flash-fiction exercise on a topic that changes every few days. The group's coordinators are Florin Piersic Jr., Gabriel Molnar, and Luchian Abel. (Drawing by Adrian T. Roman)
