People are divided in two types: those who love and those who are loved. You are in between these two types, complicated, slippery, cranky and calm, rainbow for two parallel worlds, for the entrance and the exit. One day, you took a nap in the subway next to me, your head slipped on my breast and I did not dare to wake you up, even when my station had passed. We walked until the last stop with my nose in your hair. I let myself bitted on my neck until the entrails of snakes snuggled up in your jellyfish locks. And now I search for you, just you should stay still.

Real Fiction is a collective project started in 2013 by Florin Piersic Jr. The concept of Real Fiction continued to exist as a Facebook group, after a volume of stories was published at Humanitas Publishing House. (In April 2021, the group has 5.600 members.) The authors write ultra-short stories, setting their texts within the limit of 500 symbols (in Romanian language, so in English the limit might be a little different) - a flash-fiction exercise with an almost daily changed topic. The group's coordinators are Florin Piersic Jr., Gabriel Molnar, Răzvan Penescu, and Luchian Abel. (Drawing by Adrian T. Roman)
