How long have I waited for this trip! The place is perfect, a private cottage, in the middle of the woods. No motivational speeches or any other bullshits that I've heard about. Nothing but cool stuff. The trip to the mountain was pretty long but I guess that's how you build character. A full night of drunkenness, I didn't expect Iulia to be able to drink so much, but she put us all under the table. Not even our boss didn't seem as stupid as he usually did. I don't know how to say it, but he seemed kind of human. Before we left, he gathered all of us in the downstairs salon. He told us that we were all fired.

Real Fiction is a collective project started in 2013 by Florin Piersic Jr. The concept of Real Fiction continued to exist as a Facebook group, after a volume of stories was published at Humanitas Publishing House. (In April 2021, the group has 5.600 members.) The authors write ultra-short stories, with the texts limited to 500 characters (in Romanian, so the length of the English translation might be a little different) - a flash-fiction exercise on a topic that changes every few days. The group's coordinators are Florin Piersic Jr., Gabriel Molnar, Răzvan Penescu, and Luchian Abel. (Drawing by Adrian T. Roman)
