Would you, sister, be mad at me if I told you anything? You, Marie, are not just my twin sister, you are my best friend. Look, we're happy now. Both married, I with Ionică, you with Petrică, I live in a villa, you in an apartment building, I have 3 BMWs, you have a Dacia, I go on vacation to the Maldives, you to Eforie. Life has been generous with us, we have everything we wanted. Don't get upset, let me tell you now, when we were young and I met Ionică, he would have wanted you, he was just meeting me.

Real Fiction is a collective project started in 2013 by Florin Piersic Jr. The concept of Real Fiction continued to exist as a Facebook group, after a volume of stories was published at Humanitas Publishing House. (In April 2021, the group has 5.600 members.) The authors write ultra-short stories, setting their texts within the limit of 500 symbols (in Romanian language, so in English the limit might be a little different) - a flash-fiction exercise with an almost daily changed topic. The group's coordinators are Florin Piersic Jr., Gabriel Molnar, Răzvan Penescu, and Luchian Abel. (Drawing by Adrian T. Roman)
