Dear diary,
in fact, you know I'm not talking to you because you're a poor diary, you can't understand what I'm saying. I'm talking to these fools who keep finding my diaries and reading them. So, dear fools who read my diaries, here's a confession: Miruna, dumber than you is only Gabriela who is surely next to you now, and you are giggling like fools. Isn't it better for you to read a book from the library?
P.S.: Mom, if you're also reading this, I have nothing to say, except that I'm sorry you don't have the courage to ask me anything.

Real Fiction is a collective project started in 2013 by Florin Piersic Jr. The concept of Real Fiction continued to exist as a Facebook group, after a volume of stories was published at Humanitas Publishing House. (In April 2021, the group has 5.600 members.) The authors write ultra-short stories, with the texts limited to 500 characters (in Romanian, so the length of the English translation might be a little different) - a flash-fiction exercise on a topic that changes every few days. The group's coordinators are Florin Piersic Jr., Gabriel Molnar, Răzvan Penescu, and Luchian Abel. (Drawing by Adrian T. Roman)
