Do you break up with me for a nobody? For sex? Do you know anything else about him? How it comes, doesn't it matter? What do you mean, have you fallen in love? You can't be so naïve to become the trophy of a fornicator. It is only I who knows how to adore every single part of your body. Only in my eyes you are perfect. You can't love more than you are loved. And nobody can love you more than I do. You don't exist without me, don't you understand? I have no chance, you say. Then, look, this was how love faded away, shredding, while he was stabbing her in the stomach.

Real Fiction is a collective project started in 2013 by Florin Piersic Jr. The concept of Real Fiction continued to exist as a Facebook group, after a volume of stories was published at Humanitas Publishing House. (In April 2021, the group has 5.600 members.) The authors write ultra-short stories, with the texts limited to 500 characters (in Romanian, so the length of the English translation might be a little different) - a flash-fiction exercise on a topic that changes every few days. The group's coordinators are Florin Piersic Jr., Gabriel Molnar, Răzvan Penescu, and Luchian Abel. (Drawing by Adrian T. Roman)
