The employees concoct all the time, that was their job. They made up some brazen campaign. Funny thing is they succeeded every day. They were fooling people around, making huge profits for the company. There were many gullible people. They bought whatever they saw in commercials. No one was able to figure out the truth. Consumption spread like a plague. But there didn't seem to be any sufferers. Everyone enjoyed the pleasure of general deception. The creators of those delusional hypocrites had a soft spot: they blindly trusted their employer.

Real Fiction is a collective project started in 2013 by Florin Piersic Jr. The concept of Real Fiction continued to exist as a Facebook group, after a volume of stories was published at Humanitas Publishing House. (In May 2021, the group has 6.400 members.) The authors write ultra-short stories, setting their texts within the limit of 500 symbols (in Romanian language, so in English the limit might be a little different) - a flash-fiction exercise with an almost daily changed topic. The group's coordinators are Florin Piersic Jr., Gabriel Molnar, Răzvan Penescu, and Luchian Abel. (Drawing by Adrian T. Roman)
