I have a good many phobias, but the most important of them is my fear of death. This one makes an appearance especially when I start working on a new project. Whether I\'m writing a book or working on a new film, I get this feeling that I will die before I have the chance to finish it. Which is a good thing because it motivates me to work. And so, this is the secret behind my success, since you\'ve asked. Stefanuţ, what do you babble on about, giving imaginary interviews again? Come, the nurse is here to give you your shot.

Real Fiction is a collective project started in 2013 by Florin Piersic Jr. The concept of Real Fiction continued to exist as a Facebook group, after a volume of stories was published at Humanitas Publishing House. (In May 2021, the group has 6.400 members.) The authors write ultra-short stories, setting their texts within the limit of 500 symbols (in Romanian language, so in English the limit might be a little different) - a flash-fiction exercise with an almost daily changed topic. The group's coordinators are Florin Piersic Jr., Gabriel Molnar, Răzvan Penescu, and Luchian Abel. (Drawing by Adrian T. Roman)
