Grigoreeee. Where are you, you son of a bitch. Come on, back to work, arrange the chairs and lay the table cloths, from one moment or another will Chirilă appear and he'll ask for a bowl of beans and 5 spoons, they have a concert tonight on the beach. You've seen the way they fart after a good portion. Do you remember when they ate bean soup at Şoni and they had to interrupt the concert. Grigoreeee. Grigore was cool as a cucumber, he was looking after the pink packet boat that headed to Constanţa and was whistling Chopin.

Real Fiction is a collective project started in 2013 by Florin Piersic Jr. The concept of Real Fiction continued to exist as a Facebook group, after a volume of stories was published at Humanitas Publishing House. (In May 2021, the group has 6.400 members.) The authors write ultra-short stories, setting their texts within the limit of 500 symbols (in Romanian language, so in English the limit might be a little different) - a flash-fiction exercise with an almost daily changed topic. The group's coordinators are Florin Piersic Jr., Gabriel Molnar, Răzvan Penescu, and Luchian Abel. (Drawing by Adrian T. Roman)
