The two English men were having a walk. Shall we go to the pub? Of course; after you, Sir. Oh, this cannot be, after you, Sir. For 487 years, one member of each of the two's family was pleading for the other to enter the pub, which has since been made into a school. Today, the fed-up guard could not take it anymore and invited the them inside. The two men, relieved that someone has finally broken the cycle, politely refused and left. The next day, the guard missed them, so hr invited them over for tea. They arrived at the same time. After you, Sir. Oh, this cannot be.

Real Fiction is a collective project started in 2013 by Florin Piersic Jr. The concept of Real Fiction continued to exist as a Facebook group, after a volume of stories was published at Humanitas Publishing House. (In June 2021, the group has 6.650 members.) The authors write ultra-short stories, setting their texts within the limit of 500 symbols (in Romanian language, so in English the limit might be a little different) - a flash-fiction exercise with an almost daily changed topic. The group's coordinators are Florin Piersic Jr., Gabriel Molnar, Răzvan Penescu, and Luchian Abel. (Drawing by Adrian T. Roman)
