John the Mad man has made a piece of machinery. I'm in. I'm going four years back into the past to get another woman. I press 4, yup I have sausage fingers. It's no good. Well, look where I am. I'm reading on the sky U to pi a 2508. Damn, these cars fly like they're ready to fall on my head. And those glass floors are ready to break my feet when I drink. They did not think well of it. Buttons are all over the place. There is no seed button. There is no small wooded area for barbecue. Robots wipe my soles and wash me. Leave me along bro', that's my homeland over there. I'll take the brandy out of my pocket. I am fainting.

Real Fiction is a collective project started in 2013 by Florin Piersic Jr. The concept of Real Fiction continued to exist as a Facebook group, after a volume of stories was published at Humanitas Publishing House. (In June 2021, the group has 6.650 members.) The authors write ultra-short stories, with the texts limited to 500 characters (in Romanian, so the length of the English translation might be a little different) - a flash-fiction exercise on a topic that changes every few days. The group's coordinators are Florin Piersic Jr., Gabriel Molnar, Răzvan Penescu, and Luchian Abel. (Drawing by Adrian T. Roman)
