I've known Irinel since I was 3 years old. We've always been best friends and we've been inseparable. For example, we were desk mates in school for 12 years. Then when he left to study at the Politehnica University, I followed him. After graduation, we worked for the same company. We do absolutely everything together and we share everything, just like brothers. We even share our wives. But lately I've been a little careless and I've broken the only rule we have. Now I can say that 2 + 2 makes 5. But after they find out and they eventually kill me, 2 + 2 = still 4.

Real Fiction is a collective project started in 2013 by Florin Piersic Jr. The concept of Real Fiction continued to exist as a Facebook group, after a volume of stories was published at Humanitas Publishing House. (In June 2021, the group has 6.650 members.) The authors write ultra-short stories, setting their texts within the limit of 500 symbols (in Romanian language, so in English the limit might be a little different) - a flash-fiction exercise with an almost daily changed topic. The group's coordinators are Florin Piersic Jr., Gabriel Molnar, Răzvan Penescu, and Luchian Abel. (Drawing by Adrian T. Roman)
