I usually wear caps but I also have a summer hat, a bit too old, frankly. My wife nags me to change it. What's point in changing it when everyone knows me this way? Also, I wear it when I go fishing. It's guaranteed I catch fish when I have it on. Once I wore the hat while fishing and I did not manage to catch anything. Since then, the hat has been with me whenever I go there. However, my wife convinced me to get a new one. I leave home with this one on but as soon as I walk across the building, I change it with the old hat. I now hope you won't tell my wife on me.

Real Fiction is a collective project started in 2013 by Florin Piersic Jr. The concept of Real Fiction continued to exist as a Facebook group, after a volume of stories was published at Humanitas Publishing House. (In August 2021, the group has 7.000 members.) The authors write ultra-short stories, with the texts limited to 500 characters (in Romanian, so the length of the English translation might be a little different) - a flash-fiction exercise on a topic that changes almost daily. The group's coordinators are Florin Piersic Jr., Gabriel Molnar, Răzvan Penescu, and Luchian Abel. (Drawing by Adrian T. Roman)
