And I'm going to make it out of crystal. With locked gates, paddles and flowers in the windows. Definitely a weight room down in the cold cellars. So I can go from the gym straight to the wine. To have it wallpapered in garish colours, horrifying my guests as I show off my watch collection, next to the pantry with the pickles. And mahogany floors. For the children. Ah, I almost forgot, the kites flown up in the yard and the posters of Playboy models, '84 collection. Good year. For wines. And for models. And for castles. The bill? Beyond price. For everything else, there's Mastercard.

Real Fiction is a collective project started in 2013 by Florin Piersic Jr. The concept of Real Fiction continued to exist as a Facebook group, after a volume of stories was published at Humanitas Publishing House. (In October 2021, the group has 7.275 members.) The authors write ultra-short stories, with the texts limited to 500 characters (in Romanian, so the length of the English translation might be a little different) - a flash-fiction exercise on a topic that changes almost daily. The group's coordinators are Florin Piersic Jr., Gabriel Molnar, Răzvan Penescu, and Luchian Abel. (Drawing by Adrian T. Roman)
