Are you talking to me? Really, is it me you're talking to? Of all the bars in the world, did you have to come into mine? Honestly, my dear, I'm not interested. My name is Bond, James Bond. I know, I am your father, may the force be with you. That's exactly why I'm going to make you an offer you cannot refuse. A box of chocolates. My mother always says that life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you're going to get. Now, I have to run. I started seeing dead people. I will be back.

Real Fiction is a collective project started in 2013 by Florin Piersic Jr. The concept of Real Fiction continued to exist as a Facebook group, after a volume of stories was published at Humanitas Publishing House. (In October 2021, the group has 7.275 members.) The authors write ultra-short stories, with the texts limited to 500 characters (in Romanian, so the length of the English translation might be a little different) - a flash-fiction exercise on a topic that changes almost daily. The group's coordinators are Florin Piersic Jr., Gabriel Molnar, Răzvan Penescu, and Luchian Abel. (Drawing by Adrian T. Roman)
