In order to reduce her carbon footprint, Little Red Riding Hood had bought herself an electric scooter, the newest model. She was going blazingly fast with her scooter powered by a 25 km battery, with smooth traction and premium suspension. If the weather was rainy, she would take an Uber or a Bolt to her granny's house. And when all she wanted was to see her, they would call each other on Zoom on full HD resolution. The wolf was sitting by himself on the roadside, drooling. He never got the chance to hit on Red Riding Hood. He only got a blurry picture of her, riding her speedy scooter. He eventually died of starvation, while cursing global warming.

Real Fiction is a collective project started in 2013 by Florin Piersic Jr. The concept of Real Fiction continued to exist as a Facebook group, after a volume of stories was published at Humanitas Publishing House. (In October 2021, the group has 7.275 members.) The authors write ultra-short stories, with the texts limited to 500 characters (in Romanian, so the length of the English translation might be a little different) - a flash-fiction exercise on a topic that changes every few days. The group's coordinators are Florin Piersic Jr., Gabriel Molnar, Răzvan Penescu, and Luchian Abel. (Drawing by Adrian T. Roman)
