Her hips swayed in the wind, caressed under the red latex. Shy hands touched the trunks of the birches. The kindling moaned in autumn under their red shoes. Among so many candles, her sheath secretly modulated sin. He was startled by her sight, and beads of saliva started rolling down his steep, hairy beard. Her keen eyes caught the fear and lust in his eyes. Like a beast, she jumped on his scarred chest, knocked him down smothered him under her red robe. How many 1's in infinity?

Real Fiction is a collective project started in 2013 by Florin Piersic Jr. The concept of Real Fiction continued to exist as a Facebook group, after a volume of stories was published at Humanitas Publishing House. (In October 2021, the group has 7.275 members.) The authors write ultra-short stories, with the texts limited to 500 characters (in Romanian, so the length of the English translation might be a little different) - a flash-fiction exercise on a topic that changes almost daily. The group's coordinators are Florin Piersic Jr., Gabriel Molnar, Răzvan Penescu, and Luchian Abel. (Drawing by Adrian T. Roman)
