Don't go there, don't act like a whore, learn. I've had enough. I am 14 years old, I only listen to my laws. First, I don't care, nothing touches me, I'm just upside down. Yes, let me not lie, something touches me: the fool, with whom you apply my parental lessons, if I break your orders. But I resist, I don't even care about the fool, this is the second law I live by. Oh, there's another one: I swear every day that I won't follow the first law, so that I don't get in touch with the scoundrel, but I always forget about it. Oh, Mom, stop, it hurts.

Real Fiction is a collective project started in 2013 by Florin Piersic Jr. The concept of Real Fiction continued to exist as a Facebook group, after a volume of stories was published at Humanitas Publishing House. (In November 2021, the group has 7.500 members.) The authors write ultra-short stories, with the texts limited to 500 characters (in Romanian, so the length of the English translation might be a little different) - a flash-fiction exercise on a topic that changes almost daily. The group's coordinators are Florin Piersic Jr., Gabriel Molnar, Răzvan Penescu, and Luchian Abel. (Drawing by Adrian T. Roman)
