To anthropologists, the discovery of this tribe was a dream come true. They were as happy as children on the first snowfall, as they realized they were living in the time of a miracle, for this is the only word to call the opportunity to study the community in which religious sentiment is the most ardent. And they don't have to travel to the end of the world to do so. The Molobongians are everywhere and they are very easily recognizable, by their slow walk, their head, slightly bent towards their chest and their eyes, flooded by the light of the supreme god, who they shelter within the palm of their hand.

Real Fiction is a collective project started in 2013 by Florin Piersic Jr. The concept of Real Fiction continued to exist as a Facebook group, after a volume of stories was published at Humanitas Publishing House. (In November 2021, the group has 7.500 members.) The authors write ultra-short stories, with the texts limited to 500 characters (in Romanian, so the length of the English translation might be a little different) - a flash-fiction exercise on a topic that changes every few days. The group's coordinators are Florin Piersic Jr., Gabriel Molnar, Răzvan Penescu, and Luchian Abel. (Drawing by Adrian T. Roman)
