What story do you still want me to tell? I am really not in the mood. Again, your mom let me stay with you and she went to socialize. Today with the Wolf, tomorrow with The Greatest of the Dragons, yesterday with the three little pigs. She's also been with those dwarfs. Look at her, team building, meetings, fans. Good that at least she is bringing money home. If I were to socialize with the Little Red Riding Hood or if I were to milk the Goat, I would have eaten live coals. Would not have it been better if I had let her choke with the apple and run with Cinderella? Or with Forest's mother. I would have cut all the threes, sold them and I would have lived happily ever after.

Real Fiction is a collective project started in 2013 by Florin Piersic Jr. The concept of Real Fiction continued to exist as a Facebook group, after a volume of stories was published at Humanitas Publishing House. (In December 2021, the group has 7.750 members.) The authors write ultra-short stories, with the texts limited to 500 characters (in Romanian, so the length of the English translation might be a little different) - a flash-fiction exercise on a topic that changes every few days. The group's coordinators are Florin Piersic Jr., Gabriel Molnar, Răzvan Penescu, and Luchian Abel. (Drawing by Adrian T. Roman)
