The guy from Room 101 says you hid the money. Tell us where. Otherwise, you get 10 and he gets 1. The investigator has his pupils dilated with pleasure. I have no dilemma, my boyfriend betrayed. In a year, he will climb the mountain hut. He will arrive in the evening and make a good fire. It's cold in there even in the summer. He will fall asleep quickly, the smoke will fill the room. He didn't shake the chimney, everyone will think. I'll be out after five years, for good behaviour. I'll go up to the mountain hut and dig under the walnut tree. He will be dead and all money mine.

Real Fiction is a collective project started in 2013 by Florin Piersic Jr. The concept of Real Fiction continued to exist as a Facebook group, after a volume of stories was published at Humanitas Publishing House. (In January 2022, the group has 7.830 members.) The authors write ultra-short stories, with the texts limited to 500 characters (in Romanian, so the length of the English translation might be a little different) - a flash-fiction exercise on a topic that changes almost daily. The group's coordinators are Florin Piersic Jr., Gabriel Molnar, Răzvan Penescu, and Luchian Abel. (Drawing by Adrian T. Roman)
