In 10 months, I wrote 260 texts in this group out of which 30 have been published [on LiterNet]. This amounts to a writing efficiency of 12%. Out of 300 days, I wrote 130.432 characters during 260 of them. This amounts to a 93% engagement. I started in March with the theme I got into a band and now I'm ending it with Fetish. Out of 260 written texts, there were at least 3 texts per theme, which would be about 90 themes. This amounts to 34.8 % of writing innovation. Adding up the percentages I get 139.8% of mediocre quality. Some fetish, huh?

Real Fiction is a collective project started in 2013 by Florin Piersic Jr. The concept of Real Fiction continued to exist as a Facebook group, after a volume of stories was published at Humanitas Publishing House. (In January 2022, the group has 7.830 members.) The authors write ultra-short stories, with the texts limited to 500 characters (in Romanian, so the length of the English translation might be a little different) - a flash-fiction exercise on a topic that changes almost daily. The group's coordinators are Florin Piersic Jr., Gabriel Molnar, Răzvan Penescu, and Luchian Abel. (Drawing by Adrian T. Roman)
