God, we meet again? Don't tell me we fall in love and share the same fate. Still, I have some good news. We are during our last reincarnation. What a hell, this Shakespeare could have written a comedy, so that I could be a woman of loose morals. I am tired to die as a dumbass, because of my love for you. Same scenario, for the last 500 years. I cannot get rid of you, even in Siberia. Last time it was North Korea. Shall I kill myself with vodka? No, from a virus. Do you know something? I refuse to die, like a fool. Pass me the glass.

Real Fiction is a collective project started in 2013 by Florin Piersic Jr. The concept of Real Fiction continued to exist as a Facebook group, after a volume of stories was published at Humanitas Publishing House. (In February 2022, the group has 7,950 members.) The authors write ultra-short stories, with the texts limited to 500 characters (in Romanian, so the length of the English translation might be a little different) - a flash-fiction exercise on a topic that changes almost daily. The group's coordinators are Florin Piersic Jr., Gabriel Molnar, Răzvan Penescu, and Luchian Abel. (Drawing by Adrian T. Roman)
