Father, when you first listened to me telling you about the sin I committed with all these men, you said that I was a nymphomaniac and that all was due to the devils inside me. So, you have to take them out of me with the holy pump and that I should put my ass in this hole in the confessional. Well, I am not sure how many devils have come out of me, each and every time, but I enjoyed the penance and the way Your Holiness possessed me, instead of devils. But I must confess to you, although I have this tiny little voice, I am not a woman. Hallelujah.

Real Fiction is a collective project started in 2013 by Florin Piersic Jr. The concept of Real Fiction continued to exist as a Facebook group, after a volume of stories was published at Humanitas Publishing House. (In March 2022, the group has 8,050 members.) The authors write ultra-short stories, with the texts limited to 500 characters (in Romanian, so the length of the English translation might be a little different) - a flash-fiction exercise on a topic that changes every few days. The group's coordinators are Florin Piersic Jr., Gabriel Molnar, Răzvan Penescu, and Luchian Abel. (Drawing by Adrian T. Roman)
