Hmmm, I took it to the cleaner's, it might be so. Because it was a full moon night and that's how the purification of the heart is done, on nights like this, otherwise it doesn't work. The people over there told me, ma'am, it's good you came, because it is very dirty and a lot of debris of love gathered around here. What about hate, he asked curiously. No, not hate, because it didn't fit in any longer. They did it so nice, they washed it and cleaned it, that I had jumped like a light string, like a wisp of cloud, as if they had tied to me a bunch of colored balloons. Then I bumped into you. An dour balloons got tangled.

Real Fiction is a collective project started in 2013 by Florin Piersic Jr. The concept of Real Fiction continued to exist as a Facebook group, after a volume of stories was published at Humanitas Publishing House. (In March 2022, the group has 8,050 members.) The authors write ultra-short stories, with the texts limited to 500 characters (in Romanian, so the length of the English translation might be a little different) - a flash-fiction exercise on a topic that changes almost daily. The group's coordinators are Florin Piersic Jr., Gabriel Molnar, Răzvan Penescu, and Luchian Abel. (Drawing by Adrian T. Roman)
