Oh, man, I had just written a beautiful text, really inspirational, mantric, nontantric, the fengshui was flowing through it like the Gange river flows through India: anything I wrote became reality. I don't even finish my mantra that boom: I only have 24 hours left to live. Imagine how fast my heart was beating. I stood in the lotus position for hours, I purified my mind, my body was already purified from all the heavy fasting I've done. Using a special focus move à la Gogu, who used to throw the basket full of corn right in the middle of the barn, I tried to get in the head of the admin, to understand the reason.

Real Fiction is a collective project started in 2013 by Florin Piersic Jr. The concept of Real Fiction continued to exist as a Facebook group, after a volume of stories was published at Humanitas Publishing House. (In May 2022, the group has 8,350 members.) The authors write ultra-short stories, with the texts limited to 500 characters (in Romanian, so the length of the English translation might be a little different) - a flash-fiction exercise on a topic that changes every few days. The group's coordinators are Florin Piersic Jr., Gabriel Molnar, Răzvan Penescu, and Luchian Abel. (Drawing by Adrian T. Roman)
