Mary had a little lamb, little lamb, little lamb. What lamb? Come on, push it, or we're gonna be the last ones. Ha, ha, the lamb was sure to go. Well, it's a lamb, what do you want it to do? Run? It can't run faster. Come on, give her that leaf and she'll chase it. You'll see she'll run faster. Faster, we're the last ones. Well, we're going to lose, and what kind of game is this anyway: running lamb online. My battery's running low, too. After I charge my phone we can try that one, Row, row, row your boat. Maybe that will go faster.

Real Fiction is a collective project started in 2013 by Florin Piersic Jr. The concept of Real Fiction continued to exist as a Facebook group, after a volume of stories was published at Humanitas Publishing House. (In August 2022, the group has 9,000 members.) The authors write ultra-short stories, with the texts limited to 500 characters (in Romanian, so the length of the English translation might be a little different) - a flash-fiction exercise on a topic that changes almost daily. The group's coordinators are Florin Piersic Jr., Gabriel Molnar, Răzvan Penescu, and Luchian Abel. (Drawing by Adrian T. Roman)
