Ooh yeah, you've been holding me like this for 10 hours baby, can you still? More, yeah, right there. I love how you ignore me, no, don't say anything, don't answer my texts, I get orgasms when I call you and you're busy on the phone. Oh yeah, I love it, you can do better, come on, just disappear for a few days. I used to get such a good feeling when my boyfriend used to give me borscht up my nose, he'd bang my head against the wall and I'd go into a coma. I loved him even more. The police took him away, I cried. That's how I like to get out of my comfort zone and get into the shittiest relationships.

Real Fiction is a collective project started in 2013 by Florin Piersic Jr. The concept of Real Fiction continued to exist as a Facebook group, after a volume of stories was published at Humanitas Publishing House. (In August 2022, the group has 9,000 members.) The authors write ultra-short stories, with the texts limited to 500 characters (in Romanian, so the length of the English translation might be a little different) - a flash-fiction exercise on a topic that changes almost daily. The group's coordinators are Florin Piersic Jr., Gabriel Molnar, Răzvan Penescu, and Luchian Abel. (Drawing by Adrian T. Roman)
