Her first boyfriend was passionate about green buildings. And of her generous forms that he studied closely with the specialist's eye. They met again years later. He stripped her and turned her all over. He tested the elasticity of her breasts, the firmness of her nipples, the mobility of her legs thrown over his shoulders. Then he spoke to her. You have a bit of a droopy shoulder, but the facade has held up well and the ornaments are in place. Good materials, can't be found anymore. Let's keep in touch, he told her. You are heritage.

Real Fiction is a collective project started in 2013 by Florin Piersic Jr. The concept of Real Fiction continued to exist as a Facebook group, after a volume of stories was published at Humanitas Publishing House. (In August 2022, the group has 9,000 members.) The authors write ultra-short stories, with the texts limited to 500 characters (in Romanian, so the length of the English translation might be a little different) - a flash-fiction exercise on a topic that changes almost daily. The group's coordinators are Florin Piersic Jr., Gabriel Molnar, Răzvan Penescu, and Luchian Abel. (Drawing by Adrian T. Roman)
