She urges me to find it quickly, because she is excited to see what I can do. I'm sorry, but from Facebook directly to privacy? I thought it was epistolary love, but I see that she wants us to suddenly move on. I say no and no, because it's shameful. But she insists, encourages me, says she feels I have potential. I still don't. Or at least let's take it easy. She keeps wants it her way because that's why she sent me an invitation, to write the first text and that I misunderstood, that it's a topic from the group, nothing else. Now I feel a bit disappointed.

Real Fiction is a collective project started in 2013 by Florin Piersic Jr. The concept of Real Fiction continued to exist as a Facebook group, after a volume of stories was published at Humanitas Publishing House. (In September 2022, the group has 9,250 members.) The authors write ultra-short stories, with the texts limited to 500 characters (in Romanian, so the length of the English translation might be a little different) - a flash-fiction exercise on a topic that changes almost daily. The group's coordinators are Florin Piersic Jr., Gabriel Molnar, Răzvan Penescu, and Luchian Abel. (Drawing by Adrian T. Roman)
